What automation systems can control Channel Box?

Any automation system that supports Intelligent Interface can control Channel Box in some form.  Channel Box supports varying levels of automation control to allow the maximum number of automation systems to have control of Channel Box.

Ultimately, the best way for your automation system to control Channel Box is by using our extended set of Intelligent Interface commands, known as B-Commands.  These new commands allow for a greater level of communication and control than the standard Intelligent Interface commands allow.  For example, B Commands allow an automation system to have multiple scenes open simultaneously and communicate with each scene individually.  Standard II commands are only aware of a single scene at a time.

Automation vendors who have added full support for Channel Box's extended command set include:  Pro Bel (Morpheus), Harris (ADC) and Pebble Beach.  Sundance has partially implemented the Channel Box B Commands.

Automation vendors who communicate with Channel Box using standard II commands (Compatibility Mode) include Harris (D-Series), Florical, Omnibus and Crispin.  These vendors are all investigating developing support for the extended B-Commands.

If your automation system is not listed here, contact Chyron customer support (631-845-2132) and we will initiate contact to determine compatibility.
