TRY LYRIC PRO 8.1 FOR THIRTY DAYS! Download the Lyric software to a PC for a full offline version of Lyric PRO. You can create and save messages, but not play to output on the PC. Be sure to also install the trial versions of the plugins, available for download on this page.
IMPORTANT!
Messages saved in Lyric 8.1 /Lyric PRO 8.1 cannot be opened in earlier versions of Lyric/Lyric PRO. Please ensure that you have made back-up copies of messages that are still being used with an earlier version of Lyric/Lyric PRO, before opening and saving them in Lyric 8.1/Lyric PRO 8.1.

- IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE THAT UPDATING EXISTING LYRIC OR LYRIC PRO VERSION 7.1 OR EARLIER SOFTWARE FROM THIS DOWNLOAD REQUIRES THAT THE DONGLE BE REPROGRAMMED!

- Lyric 8.1 documentation, including the Release Notes and Lyric Help, may not, in certain areas, refer to the recently released HyperX3.1, LEX3.1 and MicroX3.1 systems. For this release, references to HyperX3, LEX3 and MicroX HD/SD, respectively, in Lyric documentation also apply to HyperX3.1, LEX3.1 and MicroX3.1 operation.
- IMPORTANT! For facilities using multiple versions of Lyric, switching between a version of Lyric earlier than Lyric 7.1/Lyric PRO 7.1 and Lyric 8/Lyric PRO 8, or vice versa, will cause a Hardware Resolution reset. It is recommended that a version-specific User Profile be created for each version of Lyric in use.
- Lyric 8 and Lyric PRO 8 series software requires the installation of software components based upon a variety of factors, including whether or not the system is new, existing, i.e., already installed in a facility, or is off line. Hardware components are also considered.
- Lyric 8.1/Lyric PRO 8.1, the NVIDIA® driver, the eFX2 Plugin and all other required components, except for those specified, will already have been installed on any new system from Chyron. All software components and documentation for this version, except where noted, are available from this download page. Please read the Lyric 8.1/Lyric PRO 8.1 Software Installation Guide and the Lyric 8.1/Lyric PRO 8.1 Release Notes before performing any installation.
- Software components for legacy systems, such as CODI drivers, can be downloaded from the Drivers and Plugins page.
