Lyric Titling and Animation for Avid® Non-Linear Editing Systems
Lyric Plugin enables Avid system users to seamlessly integrate a full-featured version of Lyric, Chyron’s award-winning 2D/3D graphics and animation software, into a variety of Avid nonlinear editing systems. It is compatible with Avid Symphony™, Avid NewsCutter, Avid Media Composer®, Avid|DS, Avid Xpress®, Avid Xpress® Pro and Avid Xpress® DV systems, including Avid’s Adrenaline, Mojo®, and Nitris®.
With the Lyric Plugin, Avid users can quickly open and update graphics created on Chyron’s popular HyperX®, HX200, LEX, LX, MicroX and iNFiNiT!® systems, affording an unprecedented level of integration with on-air broadcast graphics systems. The Lyric Plugin supports a wide range of file import and export formats, including iNFiNiT!, Aprisa, and Quantel®.
Supporting unlimited layers and elements, the Lyric Plugin is resolution-independent, and includes advanced database-driven asset browsers for searching and sorting font styles, messages, graphics and more. Text and graphics can be updated from Access databases, Excel spreadsheets and other ODBC-registered databases using the DBLink, as well as directly from the internet with Harvester Lite. Chyron’s custom-designed user interface allows operators to have dynamic control of Lyric effects such as rolls, crawls, lower thirds and animations, which then become tightly integrated components of the Avid timeline.
