Chyron’s Mobile Suite is a set of enhancements integrating cell phones directly with the news production workflow. CAMIO’s Mobile Suite consists of WAPSTR and MOS2WAP. Both products are options for Chyron’s CAMIO system, which provides a unique graphics asset management layer and integration with MOS enabled newsroom systems such as Avid® iNews®, AP® ENPS® and Dalet® Open Media.
- WAPSTR: A Multimedia Messaging Gateway and CAMIO plug-in interfacing with the public mobile phone network. WAPSTR enables simple upload of photos and videos from mobile phones, directly into Newsroom Computer Systems. Journalists have instant access to these materials which can quickly and easily be dropped into templates for immediate on-air use.
- MOS2WAP: A WAP Server and CAMIO system plug-in for simultaneous publication of WAP pages with story creation directly from within Newsroom Computer Systems. Changes to the rundown and breaking news stories are instantly posted to the WAP server, increasing newsroom efficiency and immediately reaching your new mobile audience.
