CodiStrator telestrator adds excitement and interest to live sports coverage, news broadcasts, weather reports, traffic updates and more, with easy-to-use illustration tools for instant interaction with on-screen events. With a touch of a finger, click of a mouse, or point of a light pen, on-air talent can illustrate, highlight, and bring details into focus. User-edited, point-to-point line segments with arrowheads or the spotlight function provide instant detail to specific areas. Freehand brushes with user-editable sizes, transparencies and an endless variety of graphic elements and tools give the user a large selection of choices for bringing information across to their audience. CodiStrator provides the ideal illustration solution for broadcast studios in news and sports, as well as media and press presentations, conferences and classroom training. This system is available in HD/SD-switchable and SD-only configurations.
Single or Dual Inputs for Interactive Commentary
CodiStrator can be used with the Wacom® digitizing tablet, or you can connect to a VGA touch screen monitor using ELO Touch Controllers to draw directly over your live video source. The intuitive toolbar menu automatically prioritizes and dynamically positions the tools in use. Programmable overlay display on the touch screen enables the user to select and place graphics. DDR/VTR controls also allow for easy touch-ups and rewind control. A second touchscreen can be added for an additional commentator and exciting interactive dialog.
