Channel Box is an HD/SD-switchable channel branding and automated promo system, featuring 2D/3D design and playout for branding applications, including tickers, crawls, snipes, “bag & tag,” promos and end-credits. The system’s real-time video, graphics effects, clips and audio can be integrated with automation systems, or the system can be used as a standalone branding device. Channel Box is offered in two configurations to fit the needs of your facility:

Flexibility
Instantly insert graphics elements, Windows® AVI or Quicktime® movies, internal clips and audio files into Channel Box’s Scene Builder, and then create 3D animation paths, squeeze live video from multiple video inputs with the built in 2D and 3D DVE and time trigger events to replace timely and costly editing time with “Live-to-Air” real-time playback. Design a custom User Interface from the Channel Box Scene builder application and connect with automation systems and Channel Box is ready for air.
Reduce Production Costs and Create New Revenue Streams
Pre-producing credit squeezes or adding in program promos will be history. Channel Box provides the tools to do all of this LIVE. Build a station promo just once and let Channel Box insert new voice-over tags, text and graphics during the live broadcast day. Squeeze back the ending of a show to add more commercial content such as show sponsors or "coming up next" promos. Channel Box has built-in trigger points to be time-accurate for this added content. Trigger events using manual selection on the user-designed GUI, one of the 16 built-in GPIs or via automation.

To this end, Channel Box now supports as-run logging in SMPTE standard BXF format, making integration into your BXF-enabled traffic and automation workflow simple. We have also added optional EAS capability to every Channel Box, giving you an economical way to integrate your EAS commitments with your branding needs in a proven and powerful platform. Our new Control Master 1-RU programmable switch panel is a space-efficient answer to loading and triggering scenes in crowded Master Control facilities.
