NAB, Las Vegas, Booth #SL3713 - April 14, 2008: Chyron (AMEX: CGS) has today announced that it has integrated its CAMIO news graphics management solution and XClyps HD/SD clip player, to further extend the company's MOS newsroom workflow.
Fully transitional clip or still playout can now be managed directly from the newsroom, freeing broadcasters' graphics workflow resources. Show openers, transitional segments and electronic backdrop content can be seamlessly integrated into the MOS environment.
The Chyron MOS newsroom workflow solution includes: - CAMIO:Graphics asset management server - LUCI: Chyron's newsroom ActiveX plug-in for MOS Newsroom Computer Systems (NCS). Chyron's CAMIO is a complete news graphics management solution providing unprecedented control over the look and delivery of newsroom graphics. The CAMIO graphic management architecture enables the Art Department to build and upload once, for assets to be immediately available to all output devices as well as newsroom clients. XClyps is a multi-format production clip server designed for the needs of the most demanding broadcast environment.
"This announcement further highlights Chyron's commitment to providing a fully integrated graphics workflow from acquisition to playout. The recent acquisition of AXIS Graphics and the subsequent launch of Chyron's Online Division, continues to drive the company froward. We look forward to demonstrating the Online product portfolio and Chyron's fully integrated graphics line on our booth today, at NAB 2008," commented Michael Wellesley-Welsey, Chyron CEO.
